MikeRC
Good morning from the shadow of the Canadian Rockies. Below historical average temperatures for almost 2 weeks now. -13°C (8°F) this morning. Where did fall go? Who knew you would need your winter tires in mid-October? When will I get the leaves picked up? Luckily I blew the water out of the irrigation system the day before all this started. P.S. Do NOT plan any motorcycle trip to the Canadian Rockies or further north after about the 3rd week of September. Or at least entertain that you may be leaving your bike here until next spring. 2 Link to comment

I actually took welding classes and could never walk the cup. Got fairly proficient with MIG (easy) and most enjoy stick welding. Tallulah River Rd, the other side is called Charlie's Creek Rd and eventually becomes Upper Hightower on the Hiawassee side. It can get a little rough and steepish in places and as I recall when the fellas I was riding with saw it they thought better of tackling it on their 1200's : ) https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1StISg1T8TqpoIY2XQ2Ys_3pPllnW9OdX&usp=sharing Credit to both though for making it over and back unscathed which is more than I can say for myself, that water is colder than it looks Pat. 3 Link to comment
