Well, I also had a Chevy Corsica pegged at 120 for right at an hour on I-49 from Shreveport to Alexandria,.....it had government plates on it

When I was in Albany, GA, I was in charge of the pistol range.  Well, at that time, I smoked.  As the guy in charge, I called all the commands from my little tower at the 50 yard line.  All the 9mm ammo was staged just behind me.

 

One day, I'm burning a Newport and full ammo cans are within arms reach.  A REMF Warrant Officer gives me some grief stating that I need to be 50 meters away from any live ammo.  I's like "really?!?!?!, this Newport is gonna ignite the ammunition in that is inside the ammo can?"  "how about those Marines in Afghanistan right now burning a smoke and shooting the bad guys with that cigarette hanging outta their mouth less than a foot away from a full magazine and feet away from grenades and 40mm's?"

 

Anyway, I never saw that clown again.

Actually I’m thinking the above image while not a good idea is not as bad as it appears as propane is heavier then air so the real hazard is low lying areas.
