The same moon Tom posted as it passed over the local mountains. I think it's Mount Baldy looking towards Steve Karr's place from my house.

This is one of my wife's shots grin.gif

I take terrible photos. These are the result of Mark getting new photo toys for Christmas. Me-I was sitting in the truck with some nice hot cocoa spiked with a beverage that I am pretty sure I was not really legal to have open in the vehicle! grin.gif

I don't know much about raisin pie, except that back in the day when I read Easyriders, they would award an extra slice to somebody who did something exceptional.

Unknown from Como is a Gerbera Daisy also called Transvaal Daisy (Gerbera Jamesonii).

The other unknown is a Hibiscus.

Nice colors to warm up a cold day.

Thanks! I knew the big red one started with an H, but I looked up Hyacinth and realized that was totally wrong, so I was clueless. blush.gif

From the Internation Orchid Exhibition 2007

Those are gorgeous!

In Santa Barbara? How many orchids did you bring home? grin.gif Those orchid shows can be more expensive than a motorcycle show. Maybe now that I'm in the neighborhood I can go this year...

To add to the flowers, these were near the Antelope Valley Poppy Reserve

Hey Kieth

Love that pic!!!

Cool cloud formation.

Whip

Thanks Whip

That shot was only under exposed by one stop to silouette the foreground, and it is right out of the camera. There was a wind so strong that it was rocking the car when I left. I took it free hand at 1/4 sec. These digital cameras sure are differnt then film!

Bummer, image Shack is down right now.

Big Bend, Texas Sunrise... untouched photo taken with a Canon 30D 17~85mm IS. That was my wake up call avery morning for 3 months+ when pulling the curtains open... I had to run out for this one, end up taking about 300 shots in less than 15 minutes...
