Keith S
These gain sheds are all over Alberta. The problem is that most are on the wrong side of the barbed wire fence. Went for a ride east of Calgary and found this one. The shot was taken at sunset, the highlights you see on the side wall were like embers in a fire. Here is a close-up of the shingles. Yep...the 'ol Dodge has been in the dreaded "Turn 9" (the turn so bad, it'll never be given a proper name) at Willow Springs. The funny thing is Laney was happily following me on her K-bike. russell_bynum
I wouldn't say "happily"...I think she was back there going "WTF?" as you would say I thought she was going to stuff me into her sidecase...and not the full-sized case on the right...that itty bitty one on the left above the exhaust. The track officials had a few ideas of their own...none of which were very appealing. Link to comment
Keith S
Here is another shot of what I thought was a grain shed. As it turns out this was a post office built in 1906 during the horse and buggy days. Depending on your monitor settings this may seem too dark. Keith Next week I got one just for Whip. Keith S
Grain Elevators at sunrise. There are not many of these grain elevators left in Alberta. Point of interst.....country singer KD Lang shot a music video here 10 years ago. The producer didn't like that they were different colours so he had them all painted yellow. Here are a couple highlight shots. Nothing was square in this shot so I added a little more. This is a simple shot but one of my favs. Keith Link to comment
