Thanks one and all for your continued enthusiasm that's helped get us 'over the hump' of Winter Doldrums that set in about a month after FARTing. :18:  The BBR's are just as excited, and @marcopolo is busy planning his Escape from The Great White North to join us. No doubt he will arrive with some great stories!

 

If you're on the fence, now's the time to twist the throttle - there are a couple of rooms left.

Glad to see you are going to make it.

I'd like to get my hands on your bike to re-check your valve clearances if you don't mind...time permitting for your riding schedule.

 

I'm going to start scheduling other maintenance for START now that I'm home and can stay in touch better with everyone that might need something.

I've got you on the list...Cam Timing and Valve Clearance checks.

 

So far I've got Cam and Valve Clearance checks for:

Bernie (Bernie) WetHead 1200RT (maybe I can get this one done earlier in the week)

William Weldon ShiftHead 1250RT (wbw6cos)

Dave Bullock ShiftHead 1250RT (DBull)

Tom Nicotera ShiftHead 1250RS (Motorhead1977) (maybe as early as Tues 4/25)

Mike Barksdale ShiftHead 1250GS (MikeB60)

 

This is filling up the week from Tues 4/25-4/30....

I still have time (and help from Cap) for other maintenance and tires.

Congrats @Bob Conley. On the new ///M  XR!  :bike: :bike: :bike: . It was hard enough keeping him in sight with his RT. Keeping the SPORT in Sport Touring.

We had a tech day today, a couple of these guys will be at START. This would be a perfect time to get your bike ready to START. Brakes, Tires, fluids, battery, sparky plugs. How's your riding gear fitting? Don't wait till the last minute! We rescued a couple of calipers with frozen pistons today. Please don't take your bikes roadworthiness for granted .

And then . . . Woke up Sunday morning to ...SNOW!

 

Hmmm What to do? Well, IF you're like me (and I know I am), your mind has no choice but to think about the great Northern GA roads and START.  And with that, -one of my favorite rides in the area.

Dave, I feel your pain. We're forecasted to get 12" to 18" of snow overnight tonight 3/12/23 through tomorrow morning. :87:  Thanks for the video. :thumbsup:

While we didn’t have any snow in N GA on Sunday, it did rain all day. Saturday was nice and I rode Stone Pile/Yahoola roads on the way home from lunch at TWOs.  See y’all soon!

It was about 85 here, and to celebrate the first day of DST took the mighty K bike for a little ride to Key Largo and hit a few of the local watering holes for a couple beers.

Re sunscreen:  Don't be fooled. Snow is very reflective so during ski season we go through a lot of sunscreen:18:
