TEWKS
You really do meet the nicest people on a Honda. Then you have to go out on the track & kick their butts! Brother George #43 took first in two classes. How did I do you ask? Don't really want to talk about it all that much. Pat Link to comment

Twisties
Use img tags... it's square brackets around the text "img" to open, then square brackets around /img to close. Inside you don't put the web page address. Instead, in windows, right click on the image and then choose copy image location. Paste that between the two tags. Or use this icon from the toolbar above the edit window to automate the process a bit, but still use the image location, not the web page address. In this case it's, "http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2606/3853814293_61a6c8346b_o.jpg". So that's what goes inside the two tags. Link to comment
Twisties
We rode the dirt bikes yesterday. Didn't really find a whole lot of dirt. I took my old "Prosumer" SuperZoom, that I used to think was a good camera. Amazing how friggin' bad it is. I had decided not to take the dSLR on the dirt bike anymore, but I'm gonna have to reconsider that. These shots are for Jean, not 'cause they suck, but 'cause she likes paintbrush: This one is actually not too bad: You guys rode here last summer Jean, it's just before the three miles of dirt on the pass out of town. Here's where we were: Link to comment
Paul In Australia
A ride last Sunday in the hills at Australia's Gold Coast Hinterland Beechmont View The RT parked amongst all the pocket rockets that fly around the corners up here. Had a great time. (Thanks to Twisties for the know how). Great day ride. Will post more hinterland photos in weeks to come. regards PCH Edited August 25, 2009 by Paul In Australia Link to comment

Waratah
A popular American machine parked alongside a brace of Germany's finest, the main street of Tumut approximately 420km (260 miles) south-west of Sydney, Australia (Saturday afternoon 12th September 2009). The event was the Blue Liners Motorcycle Touring Club (essentially the police touring club) charity ride to Tumut, in the western foothills of Australia's Snowy Mountains region, to raise funds for the local helicopter rescue service. A great weekend ride with about 200 bikes and 250 people descending on the rural community. A few more images at http://www.flickr.com/photos/russkophile/sets/72157622361330754/ Link to comment

Waratah
RED DAWN Not a motorcycling image but worth sharing. This image has not been altered - this is the actual colour of the morning sky, taken outside my house in Sydney, Australia at around 6am on the 23rd September, 2009. This is a northerly view towards Sydney CBD, approximately 6km (3.7 miles) away in the red mist (normally the city skyline would be visible). Gale force westerly winds over the preceeding 24hrs had carried dust around 2,000km (1240 miles) from the state's western districts and Australia's Outback, blanketing the morning sky on the east coast. The ghostly apparition in the left foreground is actually a man on a bicycle who happened to be riding past during the 1/4 sec exposure. KMG_365
Boney Did ya get to see the inside of the FLW "Fallingwater" house??? Fallingwater was the [Kaufmann] family's weekend home from 1937 to 1963. In 1963, Kaufmann, Jr. donated the property to the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy. In 1964 it was opened to the public as a museum and nearly five million people have visited the house since (as of January 2008). It currently hosts more than 120,000 visitors each year. Link. I'd LOVE to go there for a visit. We've got a few FLW homes here in San Diego and I visited them when I was studying Environmental Design at SDSU. Ours are some of his more "mundane" homes, and they're still PURE genius! Link to comment
Paul Mihalka
Frank Lloyd Wright is my wife Maria's (she is a architect) idol. We visited Falling Waters a few times, couple of houses in the Washington area, and the winter location of his school of architecture "Taliesin West" in Scottsdale, AZ. I personally like his buildings with some reservations, and don't like his furniture. Link to comment
