TEWKS
I was flying around the house at about 30 MPH and that was maxed out for me. If I pushed it a little more a crash was happening! 1 2 Link to comment
TEWKS
I know I’m considered a blowhard until I actually make a purchase (I’m ok with that) but this is “cars” and I looked at another car. Clean as far as I could tell 2014 base with under 40k miles. $35K. Extra set of tires & rims, added Porsche sport exhaust with flapper valve, it sounded sweet. I tried to work in a partial trade with my RT, he thought about it but decided no. 2 Link to comment

Which may mean little in the Porsche world but usually cars/bikes that aren’t long term keepers tend to get flogged somewhat. Although this car didn’t appear to have been. But… I’ve been tricked before. Link to comment

This is what has me thinking, was it four owners or nine owners, it’s very confusing to read. I'm the fourth owner of the red car. What I found is the previous two owners seldom drove it yet did oil changes and maybe tires and brakes. The tranny oil was 10 years old as was brake fluid. Changing all of that, and a front and read alignment made a nice difference. I've seen it do what you said, but https://vinanalytics.com/ usually provides a complete list of options. I'm curious how the list compares to the other Boxster. Link to comment

Actually, that very question has been on my mind all afternoon. Just found this in the report. Edit Now the white Boxster S mentioned earlier (waiting to hear from him) had a window sticker a lot higher. My memory is telling me it was $82K but that seems ridiculously high for 2014. If it was, could the S, PDK, two tone interior be a $30K difference? It’s probably a better deal even with it having ten thousand more miles. Link to comment

I read “eight sale and bank liens” as four people got a loan and eventually sold it. Post both VINs and I’ll follow with their option lists. Link to comment

mickeym3
Long time drag racer but the BMW addiction lives on. Had forgotten how sweet a straight six manual BMW is until I picked up this 128 off Bring a Trailer….apologies for the Boxster interruption, I’ve had no luck finding a nice one and the 128 seemed to fall into my lap. 4 Link to comment
TEWKS
Nice, ^ and funny, just yesterday, I saw one of these on our local used car lot and said WOW, that’s a sharp looking car! But, it ain’t a Porsche, yup, like I’d know. edit… easy enough to get an actual picture. Link to comment

John Ranalletta
I need more self control. At breakfast with a friend. He says, "I'm buying a new car and the dealer and Carmax offered a measly $2.2k for the Element." "I'll buy it" just escaped my lips unimpeded by any forethought. Probably going to my grandson as a graduation present. Lots of miles. Never abused. Looks pretty good, too. 1 Link to comment
