Well it is after 12:00 am here so I figured, hey what the heck post now.

Elbow falls in Elbow Valley Provincial Park, Alberta.

 

Waited for the sun to set so I could get the gold colour on the water at the top of the falls. Yes, I'm as close to the falls as it looks. :grin:

The light in that shot is great, Tom.

 

Here's my kid yesterday at the park. Nice for keeping perspective on a Monday morning. Tony's 18 months old next week.

The memory of Tucson's sunsets was a big reason I moved there when I left the Air Force in 1986. After two years of de-icing airplanes in Germany I was ready for a warm winter in the desert...

 

... Tucson had 4" inches of snow on Christmas Eve that year!!
