wbw6cos
WIKI shows that bike to have a top speed of 174.5 MPH. Are you kidding me?? Dang, that is awesome! I thought BMW limited speeds on the road bikes. (still a lot for me to learn about the brand.) Link to comment

Laney and I had a pair of 2009 models when lawnchairboy (and the rest of the Clampet clan) came to Torrey. The Clampets and Laney and I took a long fast ride in some crappy weather. At the end of the day I gathered that chasing a K bike with an RT is no fun! I'll be a long way from home this trip, and without the comfort of a truck and trailer. My riding will reflect that, but 2nd gear hits the limiter around 110. 4 Link to comment

But my fondest memory of being strafed by K bike pilots is that day we met you and Laney on the Fish lake loop, we left ahead of you, made the left headed back for Torrey and I was climbing a hill on the RT, probably about a buck out there in the nothingness but two gleaming fast moving headlights caught my eye in the rear view. I just moved to the Right and two white UFO's went by me like I was parked. Loved it. 3 Link to comment
