Maybe just went for an afternoon ride, and got pic to show us something of your ride. Maybe rode to work. Maybe an evening ride. ANybody. Any pic of any ride. Redman Posted September 25, 2021 Author Share Posted September 25, 2021 Ol' buddy contacted me to go for a ride. Him and I worked together for 10 years, 17 years ago. I had Suzuki GS850G then, he had VFR. A couple weeks ago I was out for a ride, and saw another RT. I was going to look closer and wave, but a traffic situation happened that diverted my attention. Somehow he recognized me, and he managed to find a way to contact me. He got a new 2019 RT a couple years ago. Today he took us for about 100 mile ride, on roads he knew south of Holland MI , including stopping for lunch in South Haven. Was good to "catch up" on things in our lifes, us both retired now. ALthough too much of our time was spent talking about our crashes and inurys and misc health problems. We agreed that we should go for a ride again. Maybe next time I lead on some roads I know north of here. Doah, my selfie pic of us was suppose to have the South Haven lighthouse in background. Redman Posted September 29, 2021 Author Share Posted September 29, 2021 Typical short morning ride today. Go further out of town a ways, loop around, head back into town, stop at coffee shop. Sometimes go down by beach/pier. Today was barley 50degF, 'taint summer time no mo' Stopped at this boat ramp on the river, about 30 minutes after sunrize, just to see what there is to see. Some times are ducks or geese or swans, but not today. But, I Could stand there and be thankful that I can do this. Interesting that the clearwater lights, in phone pics, I can take 8 or 10 shots and in most shots both lights appear to be off, one shot might have only one light on part way, other shot may have only other light on, and one shot might have one light partly on and other light on. Must be the lights are actually pulsing, but quicker than eye can see. Later Note: Doah, yah, okay, yah, that is the intensity control. THe intnesity control adjusts the pulse duration, duh, yah. So for pictures should turn up to full on. Link to comment

If'n a 7-ton ever comes up for auction in my price range, I'd love to get one of the below, convert it down to four wheels, bob the rear so it's a "truck bed" type, and look down on the 18 wheelers in traffic. Rode further out of town, and then back into town and down by the beach/pier, Gradn HAven State Park, on Lk Michigan. Naw, that isnt a parking spot, I didnt park there, I just kinda hesitated for a while to pose picture. Then Did park in parking lot, and then went for walk on pier. And stopp at a coffee shop. ANd go for a bit more of a ride. 52degF when left, upper 60 when get back home. THere, you have seen most of where like to go for short morning rides. Redman Posted October 9, 2021 Author Share Posted October 9, 2021 Morning ride, stopped at this boat ramp - again, morning fog and overcast gives different appearance from previous pictures (hey, previous pic was last month) Parked bike on bit of an angle this time, which meant was leaned over further. And ramp surface was wet slimey (parking lot overfilled with trucks and boat trailers so had been some putt-in traffic ) ( duck hunters I suspect, based on all gun shots I heard right before sunrise). Boot was slipping so could not right the bike while sitting on it. Managed to find a way out of there. Maybe I should retire this photo pose idea of mine. < < sighhhhh > > 1 1 1 Link to comment

The sign use to be posted closer to Red Bluff and said 140 miles. The hwy. department decided to put it further West because it was stolen so many times. 7 2 Link to comment
