Indy Dave Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Great photo's Ken! Glad you're keeping the cob webs out of that beautiful RT!
wbw6cos Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 What did the RT rider say to the cow in the parking lot? Spoiler Please moooooove! 3
wbw6cos Posted November 11, 2021 Posted November 11, 2021 Did a little run from Suches to Dahlonega and stopped by Lake Zwerner (Ward Creek) for a quick photo 7
wbw6cos Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Rode up to Tellico Plains to meet @Foot for lunch. I hit some GS roads on the ride up (that is another story) which could segway into Bumbling Rider Tale on its own, but the ride back was great and had LOTS of pavement. Lots! 6
wbw6cos Posted November 12, 2021 Posted November 12, 2021 Stopped to see the Hiwassee Dam on the ride to Tellico. Took a dam picture or two. 4
wbw6cos Posted November 13, 2021 Posted November 13, 2021 Google Joe Brown Highway in NC and see the unpaved section. Yeah, I rode that. 2 2

Great to see this bike. 1
taylor1 Posted November 17, 2021 Posted November 17, 2021 After some minor surgery last month , I decided it was time to take my new and improved left foot out for a test run. Only did about 150 miles , but it’s a relief to know that all is good to go. And yes , my foot now shift’s quicker than before 8

Led Posted November 18, 2021 Posted November 18, 2021 I have to close the season. There is ice on the roads. I wish everyone safe trips! 3 2

Dennis Andress Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 21 minutes ago, TEWKS said: That really is a great looking bike! For a tall guy, it seems you gravitate towards the little tight tucked in bikes? (if that bike description makes any sense) I completely understand the draw but, my knees and wrists don’t get it. PS…Spanky is good, I was just going to say “ Sparky” for the flake in that paint. Bryce is kinda growing on me. On the ride home from START this spring the K13's bar angle did a number on my right wrist. The RS's bars are flat and probably won't do that. I needed more luggage space too. I looked at an RT but they are heavy and the tank flares out about where I want to put my knees. Did I mention they are heavy? Low bars let me straighten my arms and back while leaning forward into the wind a bit. The Option 719 pegs are adjustable so I can lower them about 3/4". It's taking me to California next week so we'll see. 3

walton66 Posted November 19, 2021 Posted November 19, 2021 Rode home from Ft. Myers yesterday. 320 miles all of which was is some sort of rain. Here I'm stopped in Key Largo for coffee thinking the rain has slowed after riding in a deluge from near Everglades City. 10 miles down the road, it picked up to the point of having only a car or two visibility with a strong north wind. The big bridges were scary. 2.5 hours to make the last 90 miles. Of course 10 minutes after I pulled into the garage, it slowed to a drizzle for the remainder of the evening. My boots, gloves, and helmet are still drying. 4

longjohn Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 I went for a Friday ride to get a haircut near usc, but the wait was too long so I went riding in the SM mts. instead. Here up on Piuma, I could see the marine layer slowly creeping into Monte Nido. I added Encinal Cyn (sweepers)in between Yerba Buena and Latigo (tight twisties). What a contrast!! 6
Bernie Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 I rode Saturday to meet the local MSTA group for breakfast and a ride to lunch. I got going early. We had 10 riders show up. After breakfast and consultation with the locals,we had a spirited ride to lunch. Our behavior at lunch at the Yearling restaurant was monitored by more of the local population. Returned home after 360 miles of NE Florida backroads. Beautiful day to be out on the bike riding. 8
Michiganr80rt Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Temp was in the low 40's yesterday so warm enough for a quick ride to a couple of lakes 6
taylor1 Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Took the airhead for about a 3 hr. spin today. Probably the last of the year. 9
Francois_Dumas Posted November 21, 2021 Posted November 21, 2021 Short 80 km ride to use some of the last sunshine, and get a Caffe Macchiato.... 6
Rockosmith Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Took a ride up to NC and the BRP. May be the last ride up there this season. 8 1
K1300R Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Got the DR650 out today...very nice day here...the dr now has 650kms on it and inching closer to it's first break-in service. And then I'll put the Yoshi exhaust in jet kit in...but first I had to siphon gas out of my 83 750 lol...lots of gas stations closed still with no gas. A cool bike park just opened out in Langford...it goes way in behind with lots of dirt tracks too...great to see little kids on it with their push bikes. 7
