Rt-3 is still closed north of Weaverville. So much for the projected May 17 re-opening.

Only a few miles are closed. There is a detour around the collapse. One way with a pilot vehicle, hard packed dirt and I only waited 15 minutes at most.

Sue is in need of an emergency eye procedure which forces us out.

After lunch I rode with Bill and Mikko as far as Coulterville. We parted Coulterville at 3pm. Their route is subject to weather and is still in debate.
