Tail in the air adventure. pics and questions

OK...found the dang front screws now. It's better, the airbox isn't moving up now. How hard should it be to move this up? I feel like I'm really putting a lot of pressure on, but I don't see an obvious pinch points.

 

I loosened the front bolts a fair amount (~3 turns?)

Make sure you dont have any wire bundles still tied down keeping it in bind. Even after you get them all undone, you will still feel like it is too hard to lift. At least mine did. You just have to take a little bit at a time. Be patient, but dont worry too much, it was hard for us all.

SUCCESS!!

 

For you RT-P owners, the extra wrap-around frame that seems to do about two loops around the entire engine, seems to block the pivoting action.

 

I fully removed the front two bolts in order to pick up the tail. Airbox out! Time for the trailer and the welder.
