Looking for people to ride with in San Diego

Hi, my wife and I are trying to find some riding people in San Diego. Any ideas how to find a casual group that likes a leisurely ride on the weekends? No high speed stuff, just have fun cruising around.

Leisurely?  Nope, sorry.  Not my style, generally speaking.

Get out and ride, you'll meet some people along the way. It seems once you start riding, people just kind of find each other, through friends, family, and strangers. It's hard to explain, but it kind of just happens.

I'm not a facebook guy, but I imagine there are some groups or forums there to find fellow riders. It may not be a direct contact, but a side discussion that strikes up a friendship.

And to Bills comment about leisurely riding, when I'm with my wife, very leisurely riding. When I'm solo, not so much.

I'd like to ride with you, but I'm half a country away. And it's winter here already, so get out and enjoy, I'm jealous!

Check your local BMW club. It’s a good place to find like minded riders. 

I know here in NE Florida, our club, BMWNEF does a lot social activities and local rides. The monthly group rides are always a good way to find riders that enjoy your style of riding.

If you can’t figure out where your local clubs are, check with the BMW dealer or check the BMW-MOA website for a list of local clubs.
