I'll start a separate planning thread once I get the hotel contract squared away, but go ahead and mark your calendars:

 

El Paseo Spring 2007 April 12-15 in Dillsboro, NC.

 

Please don't call the hotel until I post it in ride planning.

The hotel is a little more expensive, but it's brand new and I think you might find a curvy road or two nearby

 

I heard that this particular hotel lets you park your motorcycle in the rooms.

$89 is the best they would do, and actually the best I found anywhere nearby. Even 6 months in advance it's dificult to find a place that will hold 50 rooms for you. Not sure if it's the casinos driving up the prices or what, but it sure is getting expensive up there.

 

I'll start working on Pisgah Inn for the fall and see what they can do for us.

Ok, Thats a little less than 20 dollars a night more than the last El Paeso. So, 60 dollars more total over 3 nights. I guess I can say that I am saving that much is gas not having to ride from Michigan anymore.

Taking the back roads such as 178, 215 and the BRP it's a big 105 miles to get there. I think I can make it without even getting off the bike. Heck, I might even take the R1100S!
