Motorhead1977
AFAIK we're in and scheduled for 2 rooms to arrive 9/22 depart 9/29. Both me and Amy plus my buddy Matt ('23 R1250RS red/white/blue) I say AFAIK as the online reservation system kept telling me that the hotel had no rooms available that week even though I used the group code and the telephone reservation system person insisted there was only 1 room left in the block. However, after insisting I get to speak with someone at the front desk the person there made the reservations and gave me a verbal confirmation number, emailed confirmation to follow so.......... Woot Woot!! 3 Link to comment

Woot Woot!! LOL, my experience was a bit of an adventure too. I am still awaiting an email confirmation and wasn't given a confirmation number. Fingers crossed that we really do have a room🤣. I will likely call back today to get a confirmation number. 1 Link to comment
Indy Dave
It's always best to call the hotel directly. Having said that that, thank you for alerting me to this issue, and I will forward your experiences to our contact there and see if there's an issue with the reservation line. It's important to know that the hotel itself is the one giving us the rate, so speaking to somebody at the front desk is the best way. They are utilizing a national system when you go online, and things that happen there are out of Natural Bridge's hands - they are simply trying to work their unique software system with the larger mothership, so to speak. 1 Link to comment

Bernie
I think you have to select the option #1 to speak with the front desk. 1 Link to comment

You don't get the "Front Desk" unless you ask for it if you chose option/selection #2. You need to choose option/selection #1 to get the front desk without having to ask to be transferred there. Don't ask me how I gained this knowledge 1 1 2 Link to comment
Krid
That absolutely explains the painful reservation process!🤣 1 Link to comment
Indy Dave
Thanks - I've edited the first post to reflect selecting option #1. 2 Link to comment

Thanks Dave, it is all sorted out. They seemed to be having trouble with their phone lines at one point yesterday and she put a letter in the wrong place of our email, but I spoke to the very efficient Debra today and we found the issue and immediately sent me a confirmation, so all if good! I should have commented further after I phoned. 2 Link to comment

Indy Dave
PLEASE NOTE: Our block of rooms is allocated between the Main Hotel and the Veranda, AND between rooms with King beds & 2 Queens (Main Hotel) and King & 2 Double beds (Veranda). As rooms are reserved, the hotel is and will be adjusting our room block allocation as needed - adding more king rooms and/or shifting rooms from one area to the other (Main Hotel to Veranda, etc) as needed. If you have an issue getting the type of room you want - please PM me (don't post to the thread - as it causes confusion). EXCEPTION: Once the ground floor rooms are gone in the Veranda, they're gone - can't do anything about that. 3 1 Link to comment

Indy Dave
Sure sure. We aim to please! I'm headed out for a few nights on the bike while on a business trip. Nothing exciting road-wise, and mostly just riding and parking the bike. Staying at a casino - so my plan is to 'cash in' the casino time to ride into Michigan a couple of times. 4 Link to comment
Twisties
We're booked. The Chuckwagon goofed and booked Torrey for the weekend before, so we can actually do both this year. Consequently, we'll be hightailing it from Torrey and hoping to be there in VA on Wednesday night. Thinking maybe we'll trailer partway to save time. 6 Link to comment

TSConver
Not sure if we will make it or not. Susan will still be recovering from knee surgery so attendance will depend on that process. 1 Link to comment
