I'm considering extending to the Santa Cruz Mountains after Atascadero. Sunday night Half Moon Bay. Monday night Pacific Grove. Looks like weather may cooperate, but definitely a game time decision.

Looks like Daylight Pass opened this week.  The road from 190 is to Daylight is closed, but it seemed it could be accessed from the Scotty's Castle Rd, based on signage in the park.  Scotty's is not open, however.  190 is closed from to Olancha, and access is from Lone Pine.  

 

We came up from DV Junction on 190 and had minimal issues.  One patch of rough gravel about 400' long.  The rest paved, despite many "Pavement Ends" warnings.  Two pilot car sections on west side for about 40 minutes of delay, total.  But, mostly smooth sailing, gorgeous views and a nice 78 degrees F.

Saturday local ride was on of those “ go off and get lost then figure out how to get back” kinda rides…..just the way we like them!
