Mitch - 

There IS a GPS connector like on your old bike for switched power. A little tougher to find but I found it and used it for my GPS. 

 

The 23s do take some time to get used to but I do love my 23 RT - save color as yours.

Oh... and I happen to be one of those that can live with the stock seats (more than 60K on the R11) --- but with the new ride, may try another Sargent like I had on my VFR and loved.
