I really don't understand sticking with a 5 speed transmission, that was the one BIG  thing that was lacking in the older 650 KLR's, no 6 speed transmission in todays modern dual purpose bikes is just plain wrong.

And heavier....guess I’ll keep focused on sub-400cc for a second bike.
