Cmyers41
Just topped off the tank, rode the 5 min home. Now I have a near constant flow of fuel coming out of the overflow tube on the brake side. Any ideas??? Thanks! 1999 R1100RT Link to comment
Cmyers41
Quick update. It slowed down to a trickle, put it on the centerstand and it stopped. Link to comment
Jim Moore
That used to happen to me occasionally. I quit filling up right before I got home. Link to comment
Mrclubike
Just be glad you don't have a HEX HEAD Now they have real fuel leak problems Link to comment
RPG
On the few occasions where I topped off and then rode only a short distance to my office or home, this same thing happened. The key is to not fill it up all the way to the top of the opening. RPG Link to comment
MarinPhil
Happened to me a few times. I’ve found that if my fuel guage shows full, then its a good chance of overflow. Tip, if you look back and its pouring out thru the overflow tube, pop open the fuel cap. Link to comment
