Western NC Weekday Ride

Took a ride to Asheville, my closest dealer up here, to pick up a couple of liters of oil. Could have ordered it online but it was a nice day and I have the time. Hopped on the Blue Ridge Parkway for the trip over, came back on the go fast roads. This is the Cowee Mountains overlook at around 5090 ft elevation, just a little below the parkway’s highest point at 6042, I believe. The camera angle was better here for a shot from the turnoff.
