So this weekend I did a complete update of the S1000r. 

New front sprocket  17 teeth OEM

New rear Sprocket  42 teeth -3 from OEM

New chain  116 links

New rear brakes

 

Had not done sprocket or chains in many years.  After waiting for the tools I needed, took about 4.5 hours.  but  it is really hot here in Atlanta and I took many water/air conditioning breaks.

 

I did not take good care of the chain, so lasted 16k.  Was hoping to get to 18K and do it all at once with the valve service.  I will do better with this new set up.
