Nein
You knew it would happen. There are now Chinese readers that will reset the service indicator on the wc boxers. I bought one for $7.99. And .... it works great. Resets it to the standard 12k before next service which is all that most people want anyway. Verified the result with my GS911 tool and it shows that the service was reset properly. Presently you have to order from the mother land. Not available in U.S. yet. Found out from a club in Singapore. Link to comment

LAF
Well with the MotoScan App and a 25 dollar OBDII you can reset the Service Reminder and a lot more. I own the App and a OBDII reader and it works. Just go to any BMW forum and Search for MotoScan App. Nothing replaces my GS-911 but this is a cheaper way to do it. 2 Link to comment
