sponserv
Replaced my fork seals yesterday. It was actually not that difficult. Including stripping panels it was about a two hour job. I have seen online not to worry about refiling any spilled fork oil from tubes as the oil only acts as a lubricant and has no damping effects. But I just want to go ahead and suction out the old fluid and install fresh. How do people typically suction to the bottom of the slider. And since my manual is at another location what is the amount and typical fluid used in this process? Link to comment
szurszewski
I've never tried suctioning - just poured out the old and poured in the new. It's right about one liter split between the legs - I think the spec for your bike is 510ml per leg. Link to comment
