Anyone know if its possible (maybe GS911??) to get the two trip meters on my 2009 R1200RT to NOT reset to "000" after hitting "999" miles?

Thanks much.

I haven't checked, but I doubt it.

At some point in time I will check.   I'd like to say it's proprietary, cause I like that word, but it's probably just more like the nature of the beast.

Evening Larry

Yes, change the reading to km & they will then re-set @ 999km, for some reason BMW only designed in 3 places plus the km/mi designation.

On  BMW 1200 bikes with fuel strips one trip-set should  be dedicated to  show travel since last fuel fill up (you never know when the  fuel gage will become inaccurate) so that is never over 400 miles.

I usually dedicate 1 trip set to miles of  fuel travel & reset the other at the end of each days ride. My total travel & other trip type recorded data is through my GPS anyhow.
