The Rocketman
Anyone know if its possible (maybe GS911??) to get the two trip meters on my 2009 R1200RT to NOT reset to "000" after hitting "999" miles? Thanks much. Larry Link to comment
David13
I haven't checked, but I doubt it. At some point in time I will check. I'd like to say it's proprietary, cause I like that word, but it's probably just more like the nature of the beast. dc Link to comment

Thanks much. Larry Evening Larry Yes, change the reading to km & they will then re-set @ 999km, for some reason BMW only designed in 3 places plus the km/mi designation. On BMW 1200 bikes with fuel strips one trip-set should be dedicated to show travel since last fuel fill up (you never know when the fuel gage will become inaccurate) so that is never over 400 miles. I usually dedicate 1 trip set to miles of fuel travel & reset the other at the end of each days ride. My total travel & other trip type recorded data is through my GPS anyhow. Link to comment
