1150RT Mirror Parts Source

A few months ago I managed to dump my RT at walking speed (long story) and broke the right side mirror and most of the supporting goodies inside. Does anyone have a recommendation on a source for replacements?

 

Headed up to Franklin, NC next week for the summer and fixing the mirror will be one of my first projects. Looking to enjoy some of the great riding in that area. Anyone live close?

Beemer boneyard has a left side in white - but currently not a right side in any color.

Thank you, I saw that. They even had a right side in blue listed as sold. I guess timing is important here.

Thank you, I will probably do that as part of this repair. Looks like cheap insurance.

You *could* click to get on the waiting list for the color and side you want (or all the right side mirrors listed, if color is not important(, but I think a better idea would be to call Mike F. at BeemerBoneyard and tell him what you're looking for. His/their customer service is top notch, and I wouldn't be surprised if a call would get you one more quickly than going through the website.

Has anyone had the opportunity to see if these colors match the BMW colors?  I have a 1999 R1100RT in Opal Blue.  The mirrors are correct color, but scratched from previous owner dropping ALOT.  Wondering if it would improve the look or make it worse.
