steveknapp
What's the best option for keeping my V1 dry and safe? I saw this and it looked nearly perfect. http://www.legalspeeding.com/Radar_Cover.htm Thoughts? Link to comment
Limecreek
I've been using the Saran bowl covers they sell in the grocery store. The small one is a pefect fit for the V1 and the elastic holds them in place behind the RT screen. Link to comment

Aluminum_Butt
Looks very cool. I had seen this before, but they were only making it for Escorts - I see there is a V1 version coming out this month. Their "radar box" is a much more robust solution, but it's a lot bigger, too. In fact I bought one, but turned around and sold it because it was just too bulky for my liking. It does have the advantage of being secure enough (bolts/screws vs. velcro) that I would have probably left it on the bike during short stops. For $25, I'm likely to try one of the covers. space
I've got the Hoon cover, it's not bad, but very big. I just use one of those plastic wrap elastic banded can covers when it's raining. If the rain really lets go, I put it my tank bag, figure I would be speeding much of the WX is that bad. Link to comment

DavidEBSmith
I'd like to see how well it snaps together. The old detector box from them is big, but it seals real well. Also, it won't hide the detector real well. Maybe coat the inside of the top and bottom with some sort of opaque something? Also doesn't provide much security for the V1. Link to comment
bimmers
ceran wrap is a better and lower cost solution, you get a roll that lasts 10 years (?) for a few dollars. MHO Link to comment
Tank
Steve, Its Big, but in the PNW rain this year (everyday) My V-1 stayed dry in this box. ..... It is also about $.05 cheaper through Cyclegadgets instead of going through Legelspeedings website Link to comment
