RTJohn
On my recent trip to Beatty I experienced an odd failure on my bike. After stopping for gas, I fired up the bike to clear a few things and saw my Multifunction Display was blank. Nothing was displayed. Had me worried since my fuel gage is displayed there among other things. An hour down the road I stopped and turned the bike off for a few minutes. When I fired it back up the display was functioning again. As far as I could tell the computer was still functioning. Needless to say I was relieved. It worked the rest of the day and is still going. Anyone else experience this? Link to comment
walton66
yes, once quite a while ago on my 2013, same thing. I attributed it to my just throwing a leg up and starting without allowing the computer to go through its routine. Has never happened again. Link to comment
6speedTi
How long was the bike turned off on your fuel stop? Was the hot sun shining on the display? I ask this because the display I believe is a DOT Matrix or LCD is affected by the sun's heat or bright light when directly facing it. Not sure exactly what it is about the sun that does this. Now if this wasn't your scenario then it could have been a glitch. Just saying. That's all I can think of. Link to comment
RTJohn
I don't think it was the sun. Its been working fine since. Glitch... Link to comment
