TowJam Posted April 29, 2006 Share Posted April 29, 2006 Is there any trick to straightening the cockpit cluster on the 1200GS? Pick my GS up today I noticed the cluster is tilted just enough to the left to be noticeable when riding. My dealer said they would look at it when I bring it in for the 600 mile service but they said that the cluster is already installed from the factory and there's no guarantee that they can straighten it. On a side note - I've seen a number of GS and STs with the same problem. Link to comment
Ken H. Posted April 30, 2006 Share Posted April 30, 2006 The cluster is attached to the headlight ass'y with three cir-clips. If one of them was missing it could cause a tilt. The headlight ass'y is in turn bolted to the front frame and sits on a alignment pin. If it was off it could appear at the cluster too. Link to comment
