spacewrench
I don't know whether this air filter is from 2004, 2006 or 2009, but I do know it's time for a replacement! Link to comment
duckbubbles
The euro's do it day/month/year- so it's 4th of June, 2009. Still needs replacement! Frank Link to comment
Michaelr11
Space wrench, go to Rock Auto dot com and search for the Mahle LX628 air filter. You’ll be pleased and surprised at the cost for the same OEM filter. Add a couple of oil filters and a fuel filter to get the per item shipping cost down. Link to comment
szurszewski
Hey - they all do that! -this is the air filter that came in the 2004 S I bought last summer. I think it was the most grit I’d ever seen in a bike a filter, but yours tops it! Link to comment

Lowndes
You would like the difference a San Jose air filter would make (best with the BP Induct) in the engine output. It sure helped mine breathe better. But then, any clean air filter would help yours. Link to comment
