Woodchips
I was hoping to catch it at all 000’s, I’ll have to wait for 219 now. The 96 RT is absolutely all original except for a clutch disk, brake pads and almost 20 sets of tires and close to a 100 litres of oil. I haven’t kept track of the smiles😄. 10 Link to comment

Redman
Impressive. Mine has less than 1/4th that. (and a lot longer list of whats been replaced) Link to comment
Woodchips
I’m often surprised at the amount of parts replaced on the early RT’s, maybe mine was a made on a Friday 😆. Link to comment
TEWKS
I came up with a few lyrics to celebrate your accomplishment! Wouldn't you know, there's this retro band out there and they took this and changed just one word. Hey, they're doing alright with it I hear. Well you say you got the blues, Got holes in both of your shoes, Feelin' alone and confused, You got to keep on riding, keep on riding Yeah, you're about to go insane, Cause your womans playing games And she says that you're to blame, You got to keep on riding, keep on riding Keep on riding through the rain, laughin' at the pain Rollin with the changes til the sun comes out again Keep on riding through the rain, laughin' at the pain Rollin with the changes, singin' this refrain Singin' in a honky tonk cafe, Nobody's hearin' what you play, they're too busy drinkin' anyway, You got to keep on riding, keep on riding You say you found a peace of land Gonna change from city boy to country man Try to build your life with your hands You got to keep on riding, keep on riding Keep on riding through the rain, laughin' at the pain Rollin with the changes til the sun comes out again Keep on riding through the rain, laughin' at the pain Rollin with the changes, singin' this refrain you're just hangin' out in a local bar, And you're wonderin' who the hell you are Are you a bum or are you a star? Keep on riding through the rain, laughin' at the pain Rollin with the changes til the sun comes out again Keep on riding through the rain, laughin' at the pain Rollin with the changes, singin' this refrain Link to comment
Woodchips
Much appreciated, I’ll try and remember that as I wait for the foot of snow to melt that fell today. Edited October 10, 2019 by Woodchips Fat fingers forgot a couple of words 😖 1 Link to comment
Woodchips
I got the next turn over this time, on what“maybe” the final ride of the year. 7 Link to comment

Woodchips
Thanks Bill, that is my intention. I’m just going to keep riding and maintaining it until it becomes a parts bike for my other RT 1100 (109,000K). They may even last longer then me😂. 1 Link to comment
