Oloff_Kilter
Having a problem with the ABS system on a '2000 RTP1100. Rear brake ABS system not working properly. I would like to cut the power to the system and not use the ABS system. With the key off it is easy to lock up either wheel while coasting. With the key on and engine running the rear wheel starts to lock up and then goes into a freewheeling mode. Does not cycle. Can someone tell me what wire or wires to disconnect to disable the ABS? Have already bled the system and adjusted the sensor. Also did a search and came up with 'no matches'. Thank you. Oloff Link to comment
bmwmick
Remove the fuel tank, remove the ABS relay in the Hydro unit and insulate the red wire VERY well. This will totally disable the Hydro unit. Mick Link to comment
