MoteroNC
On my 09 r1200rt after some recent maintenance I had an incident where the bolts back out and the caliper came loose from the disc plate. I find it very strange that both bolts would come out and the caliper body but it did happen. Just to make sure I am doing this correctly these bolts are meant to install dry (no loctite) and at a 24 Nm? Appreciate any advice. Link to comment

Afternoon MoteroNC That is what the manual says, 24nm, personally I use a little blue Lock-Tite on those bolts as I have found them loose on a few 1200 bikes in the past. Link to comment
MoteroNC
Thank you. Maybe that is why they came out. Link to comment
