Anyone install a set of Heed Crash bars on a 2004 Twin Spark R1150RT?

I'm looking for something that will work on the twin Spark year?

Hi,

I have been looking too and so far the only thing I have found besides used ones are these:

Heed Crash Bars

I haven't pulled the trigger on them yet but some searching around suggest they are well made.

That is the pair I'm interested in too!

just want to be sure they will fit the twin plug R1150RT as they ship from Poland.

The ones shown are for all the years - so this includes the twin spark.

So the answer is YES they will fit.

Interesting looking bars but do the two bar sections going under the motor interfere with changing the oil?  I sure wouldn't want to drop the crash bar just to get the oil filter out

I watched a video on installing these on YouTube.

We'll made, heavy duty, looked nice mounted!

To remove the fairing panels and/or to change the oil, you must remove the crash bars.

One of the tubes underneath runs directly under the oil filter.

If you only service the bike yearly (low miles - annual service), this probably isn't a deal breaker.

If you're a high mileage rider or use a dealer for service work, it might be more of a problem or $$$$$.
