Source for used parts?

Used to be you could ask Beemer Bone Yard to keep an eye out for something like that.  But that is so specific, not sure if they will be any help.

Another used parts source : http://www.rubbersideup.com/bmw, though I do not see a strut there right now.

 

I don't think that ESA was ever an option for a lowered RT.

 

Part numbers help if you want to watch Ebay.  Current part number is 33537729299, which superceded  33537714618.  

 

Ted Porter's BeemerShop can probably set you up with a new, fully adjustable,  rebuild-able  strut with a spring matched to your load for less than half the $1400+ BMW price.
