Topcase Lid

Does anyone know if the two types of BWM 48 L topcase lids are interchangeable on the under shell?  I have a standard silver Topcase, I think it's a 2010 model.  Compared to the newer (lid) models, mine has more rounded edges; the key tumbler is on the lower bucket to the right.

 

I found a lid that matches the color of my bike.  This lid that is for sale has sharper edges with the chrome part that fits into a groove across the back (keyside).

 

I believe the part numbers are;

My opinion is no they are not interchangeable. I realize you're looking for more but that's all I've got.

Thanks...I would agree...the older version has 5 screws holding the backrest on, the newer more sharp angled version has 6....the  screw holes don't align.

Won't work.  The two cases are significantly different.  I had the old style kid painted to match the bike for $125. Local guy who does all the work for the Harley dealer.
