johnlt
I'm ready for a new helmet and am interested in the Schuberth C4. I have had the original Schuberth "Concept", the C2 and am currently using a C3 with a SENA bluetooth setup. Works great but on long rides, I usually use earbuds instead of just listening to the speakers. The SENA has a socket to plug them in and works great. The C4 has the integrated bluetooth system which I like a lot. It is also made by SENA but does not have provisions for earbud plug. Does anyone know of an audio specialist that can modify that system for use with earbuds? A short "dongle" would be acceptable. Thanks. Link to comment
Tri750
It might be easier than I'm thinking, but i would start out at an airport for a place that repairs or installs radios . Then check with the local PD to se if they have a local shop that is their "Radio Shop" Then look for an old school automotive stereo repair place, not just a hub that ships them out. If these places can't help, they may know of someone, as like fishing, gun, motorcycle shops, they all have an idea locally of who does what. Link to comment
Skywagon
I think getting someone to modify the unit for you would likely be prohibitively expensive. Someone posted about this device recently here...cant remember which thread, but seemed to really like the results. For $20 it might be worth a try. Amazon sells them. For what's it's worth the aviation radio shop I use charges $125/hour. It takes them at least an hour to say hello.
