Clutch switch

I have noticed that my bike (2011 RT) will not always start in gear while holding the clutch lever.

 

I do hear an audible click while pulling in the lever.

 

I might have time to work on it this weekend.

 

Is the clutch switch NO or NC ?

I do hear an audible click while pulling in the lever.--This might not be a good test if your bike has cruise control as the cruise bikes have a dual type switch.

Is the clutch switch NO or NC ? --I can't remember but it is a micro switch that reports directly to the ZFE module so is probably closed with clutch lever at rest. Just make sure that you measure the correct output as one output is cruise control discreet.

Bike does not have cruise control.
