Bubbadozer
I have a 96 R1100RS with a RH grip heater that the two wires(Power/ground) have broken off of the actual BMW grip heat element. I am wondering if I can use an aftermarket grip element as opposed to paying too bloody much for a BMW element. Anyone know if there is one that will plug into existing wiring? Thanks Link to comment

Thanks Evening Scott Will an aftermarket work?-- Sure, if fits & somewhat matches the heat output & amp draw of your original grip heater. Nothing special about the wiring or connections but you don't want to end up with one side too hot or too cold. Maybe try E-Bay for a good used factory R/H grip heater. (R/H side is just the throttle tube so goes on easily once you fish the wires through the handlebar) Link to comment
