Any reason i thould reconnect it? Thank you Afternoon Imgnr The rear wheel sensor is for both the ABS system & the speedometer. No need to hook it up if your ABS controller is removed. Morning Imgnr I can't see how the rear wheel speed sensor controls firing (if it did then the engine wouldn't run with the bike sitting still) It could have an effect on engine timing or fueling if the bike has traction control as the front to rear wheel speed diffential is used to figure rear wheel slippage for traction control concerns.
