siclmn
I paid $500 for it. He said that he did everything that the dealer would have done. The thing is that he did not change the brake fluid or the coolant. Is this the norm? Link to comment
MWS
Sound rights, mine was just under $500 with the addition of new rear brake pads! Link to comment
tom collins
i don't know about the coolant, but the brake service is called an "annual service" by BMW and is considered separate from the milage-specific services as they want you to do it regardless of milage. that will probably run from $100 to $200 depending on who does it for you. tom collins Link to comment
ELP_JC
Coolant should have been changed. Brake bleed, as said, is time dependent. Wheel circuits are annually, and entire system every 2 years. I do everything (clutch too) every year to year and a half, since 3 out of the 4 circuits have fluid vented to the atmosphere (just front integral don't). I do it all by myself, and have it down to a science by now. Don't skimp on the bleed, as the brake system is VERY expensive, and your life depends on it. Later. Link to comment
