Bulb replacement

Morn all 2003 r1150rt

Not going to use this space to launch into diatribe about genius who designed the headlight bulb access on my rt. Instead, since I burn thru a bulb a year I'm looking for a more durable bulb. Saw a link that mentioned an HID bulb and a Vosla bulb as well as LED's. Not familiar with them. Any advice or input would be appreciated as I really don't relish fighting the bulbs more than necessary. Thanks

I went with LED bulbs from ADVmonster.com

Much brighter and less current draw than the halogen. Plus last a lot - LOT - longer
