Corbin Smuggler Trunk vs. Russell Day Long front seat

I purchased a Corbin Smuggler Trunk and had it painted to match my 2012 RT. Im having a bit of a comparability issue with my RDL front seat. Because the RDL is such a large seat it's a really tight fit. The back curve of the RDL is actually being pushed up a bit by the trunk. I guess I'm going to have to have my seat padding trimmed a bit for a better fit with the Smuggler.

Does anyone else use this setup, and how did you resolve the compatibility issue? Thanks.

I have a CST and RDL combo and really haven't noticed an issue.

 

Both were previously owned and not by the same owner.

 

We are close enough to get together some evening and compare.

I'm SW of Ft. worth in Granbury.
