mikeR1100R
I am in the process of installing Hagon shocks on my 1998 R1100R. I have found that I do not have to remove the gas tank to install the front shock, (Whew). I do plan to do a minor modification to the horn bracket to allow me better access to the spring preload adjuster. The Hagons don't have all the adjustability of Ohlins, but they are 2/3 the price of Ohlins and seem to be a very good compromise. If anyone else wants to select this option, my advice is to choose the remote adjuster for spring preload on the rear shock. Otherwise you will never be able to even see the castellated adjuster nut, let alone get the tool near it to turn it. Even so, the price for the pair was less than $1000, as opposed to the Ohlins for $1300. I hope to have these units dialed in within the next couple of weeks. Link to comment
Matts_12GS
Mike, I agree! I have had them for about 15000 miles and love them. Link to comment
