The repair, as I understand it consists of rewiring it, as, if I understand correctly, which I may not, the usual problem is the wiring. Anyone with the wire could rewire it. I think it's a special wire, tho. But there should be someone in the UK. dc Link to comment

Michaelr11 Posted October 16, 2015 Share Posted October 16, 2015 GSAddict in Canada does an excellent job rewiring the HES. He charges $88 (USD) which includes the return postage. If you're really comfortable making critical connections and resoldering pins for a connector AND you can get the right high temperature wire, then sure do it yourself. Link to comment
