All rides seem to end the same place?

I live in Redding CT and spend a great deal of time getting lost in the surrounding towns. After all what could be a better ride than to pick a direction instead of a destination. No Maps, GPS or compass. Just me my 2001 BMW R1100RL and a full tank of gas. As Chuck Berry stated "Driving along in my automobile with no particular place to go".Well recently I began exploring Weston CT which has great motorcycle roads. Scenic, twisty and lots of elevation changes. Now it seems no matter what town I get lost in I seem to end of in Weston at almost the same place. It is hard to believe that so many back country roads seem to bring me to the same place. It could be worse all roads could lead home instead.
