Edgar Posted August 6, 2015 Share Posted August 6, 2015 Been having the hinge pins on the gas cap fall off. They land on the red indentation at the top of the inside of the tank, and the cap kinda stays in place, and does lock down. It seems to happen every 18 months. Has any one else had this happen? BMW has graciously continued to cover this under warranty. Link to comment

Edgar Posted August 10, 2015 Author Share Posted August 10, 2015 They have replaced the gas cap, but not the entire ring. New pins are are included and I presume they are part of the gas cap. Link to comment
