pud Posted July 14, 2015 Share Posted July 14, 2015 Anyone has any experience with the SHAD top boxes? Mainly wanted to know the quality as compared to the BMW top box. Looks good on their website but don't know how it will work on my 2014 R1200RTW. Link to comment

But In the end I didn't like having the mounting plate on the bike all the time and bought a BMW 49 liter top case. Doug Link to comment

I like the way it can latch/unlatch without a key. The mounting plate is not a problem for me as I rarely take the case off the bike. Easily holds our two helmets, or my helmet, jacket and gloves. Or my tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad and rainsuit. Link to comment
