My daughter-in-law's family with 3 boys 7 to 11 will be spending a week in the Cashiers area in early July.

Would much appreciate any/all recommendations for family activities they might consider.

Tubing, hiking, zip lines, bike riding, etc.

TIA.

John,

Sapphire Valley resort has zip lines as does the Highland area (HIghlands Aerial I think).

Several waterfalls like Bridal Veil and Dry Falls are esy to get to and you can iincorporate the Sliding Rock into that trip.

Suggest using google as these and hiking routes are many.

Whiteside MOuntain worth the trip up, semi-easy, nice views.

Sunset Rock in Highlands is a nice way to end day over there.

Ask about "the old iron bridge" south of Cahiers, limited parking but nice place to get by the river and you can have a good time.

NOC, Nanatahala Outdoor Cneter has multiple options for rafting.

The Tucaseegee is milder option.

Whitewater Falls is the highest in the area, get directions.

Lake Glenville marina rents pontoon boats.

Much more depending on their likes.

Suggest checking Cashiers/Highlands/Brevard by internet for specifics.

Have they ever been to the Biltmore House?

Even kids like it.
