RPG
The valve covers on my '04 RT are starting to get a little ragged, dull, unattractive and actually, a little homely looking. Was wondering what y'all use to put them back to that wonderful , new, "fresh from Berlin" appearance. new paint? buff them out? powder coating? thanks, RPG Link to comment
cris nitro
New paint. I saw a thread where someone painted them and they looked like new. Link to comment
mneblett
+1 Someone will post the corresponding Wurth or Duplicolor paint numbers that a *very* close matches to stock. Link to comment
ElevenFifty
Sanded mine and painted them with black hi-temp engine paint. I like the look Link to comment
Tri750
Slow sanding, very careful masking, Rustolium Dull Aluminum painting. Wurth BMW wheel paint or Silver Laquer is best, but many BMW owners will faint away dead with the 22 dollar a can price so I won't mention it. Link to comment
